Job summary

Citizens Bank in Melville, NY is seeking dedicated Mortgage Loan Officers to deepen client relationships and grow mortgage lending opportunities. You will interview customers to determine loan needs, advise on products and pricing, gather information, and generate complete mortgage applications while meeting sales targets.

External relationships with realtors and builders are encouraged to support referrals.

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree preferred or equivalent experience in residential mortgage sales.
• Two plus years of retail residential mortgage sales experience.
• Documented residential mortgage loan volume in past 12 months of $8 million (minimum).
• Established relationships with local referral networks.
• Ability to communicate clearly and effectively, both verbally and in writing, across a broad range of audiences.
• Strong computer skills and experience using laptop technology.
• Must meet and follow all requirements per the SAFE Act, including background checks and NMLS identifier.
