Job summary

Citizens is seeking motivated Mortgage Loan Officers to deepen client relationships by collaborating with peers across banking, lending and investing. You will interview clients, determine loan needs, and guide them to suitable products and pricing while building a strong referral network.

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree preferred or equivalent experience in residential mortgage sales.
• Two plus years of retail residential mortgage sales experience.
• Documented residential mortgage loan volume in the past 12 months of $8 million (minimum).
• Established relationships with local referral networks.
• Ability to communicate clearly and effectively, both verbally and in writing, across a broad range of audiences.
• Strong computer skills and experience using laptop technology.
• Must meet SAFE Act background checks and obtain NMLS Unique Identifier.
• Bilingual speaking preferred.

Responsibilities

• Interview new and existing customers to determine loan needs and advise on appropriate products, terms, and pricing.
• Generate complete mortgage applications while following procedures and policies; meet sales goals.
• Develop and maintain a quality network of realtors, builders, professionals and personal contacts for referrals.
• Participate in business development opportunities and community efforts to promote home ownership.
• Collaborate with peers across banking, lending and investing to deepen client relationships.
