Job summary

Citizens is seeking dedicated Mortgage Loan Officers to proactively identify and build a quality network of referrals for mortgage lending opportunities. You will interview customers, determine loan needs, advise on products, and prepare complete mortgage applications while meeting sales goals.

This commission-based role emphasizes external relationships with realtors, builders, and professionals, with long-term client relationship development and performance-based earnings potential.

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree preferred or equivalent experience in residential mortgage sales.
• Two plus years of retail residential mortgage sales experience.
• Documented residential mortgage loan volume in past 12 months (min $8M).
• Established relationships with local referral networks.
• Excellent communication skills, verbal and written.
• Strong computer skills and laptop proficiency.
• Must meet SAFE Act requirements including background checks and NMLS ID.
