Job summary

You will collaborate with underwriters and processors, maintain client relationships, and strive to meet individual and team sales goals while delivering excellent customer service.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Loan Officer or similar role in financial services (minimum of 1 year).
• Strong knowledge of loan products, underwriting processes, and applicable regulations.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build strong relationships with clients.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and other loan processing software.
• Loan Officer license (NMLS).

Responsibilities

• Assess loan applications and determine creditworthiness by reviewing financial documents, credit reports, and other information.
• Provide expert guidance on loan products, terms, and eligibility requirements.
• Process loan applications, obtain documentation, verify financial data, and ensure forms are completed accurately.
• Establish and maintain relationships with clients, delivering excellent service throughout the process.
• Explain loan options, repayment terms, and risks to clients clearly.
• Collaborate with underwriters, processors, and team members for a smooth approval process.
• Maintain understanding of regulations, policies, and market trends.
• Monitor progress of applications and assist clients with questions.
• Aim to achieve individual and team sales goals by promoting and closing loan products.
