Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Loan Officer or in a similar role (min 1 year).
• Strong knowledge of loan products, underwriting processes, and applicable regulations.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build strong relationships with clients.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks.
• Ability to assess financial documents and analyze creditworthiness.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and other loan processing software.
• Loan Officer license (NMLS).

Responsibilities

• Assess loan applications and determine creditworthiness by reviewing financial documents, credit reports, and other relevant information.
• Provide expert guidance on available loan products, terms, and eligibility requirements.
• Process loan applications, including obtaining documentation, verifying data, and completing forms accurately.
• Establish and maintain strong relationships with clients and provide excellent customer service throughout the loan process.
• Communicate loan options, repayment terms, and potential risks to clients.
• Collaborate with underwriters, processors, and team members to ensure a smooth loan approval process.
• Maintain understanding of regulations, loan policies, and market trends.
• Monitor progress of loan applications and assist clients with questions or issues.
