Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of loan officer or related financial services experience.
• Strong knowledge of loan products, underwriting processes, and regulations.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build client relationships.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and multitasking.
• Ability to assess financial documents and analyze creditworthiness.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and loan processing software.
• NMLS loan officer license.

Responsibilities

• Assess loan applications and determine creditworthiness using financial documents and reports.
• Provide guidance on available loan products, terms, and eligibility.
• Process applications, verify data, and ensure forms are completed accurately.
• Build and maintain relationships with clients and deliver excellent service.
• Explain loan options, repayment terms, and potential risks to clients.
• Collaborate with underwriters and processors to secure approvals.
• Maintain knowledge of regulations, policies, and market trends.
• Track progress of applications and assist clients with questions.
• Aim to achieve individual and team sales goals by promoting and closing loans.
