Job summary

Broadview Federal Credit Union is seeking a Mortgage Loan Originator to promote and originate real estate loan products. You will work with members, brokers, and builders to originate applications and guide them through the process.

You will review pre-approvals, attend community lending activities, and collaborate with branches and the Call Center to ensure timely processing. Licensing and regulatory compliance are essential, with ongoing education required.

Qualifications

• Associate degree required; 3+ years lending experience preferred.
• Mortgage loan knowledge including pre-approval, closing, and documentation.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and service orientation.

Responsibilities

• Meet standards for quality customer service and professional conduct.
• Review pre-approvals and issue certificates to qualified candidates.
• Solicit mortgage referrals by contacting real estate brokers and builders.
• Monitor pipeline activity and respond to information requests promptly.
• Assist in loan submission process and advise on fees and documents.
• Provide mortgage consultations and cross-sell Broadview products.
