Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Two years mortgage loan experience and one year real estate/sales experience required.
• Bachelor's Degree in real estate or finance may substitute for experience.
• Familiarity with FNMA, FHLMC, FHA, and VA regulations and guidelines is required.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and related applications.

Responsibilities

• Solicits new prospects for residential mortgage secondary market loans through contacts and referrals.
• Interviews prospective borrowers to analyze financial data and determine financing objectives.
• Advises customers on product/pricing policies and gathers required information.
• Maintains a network of relationships for referrals in mortgage lending.
• Ensures excellent customer service through knowledge of lending programs and regulatory requirements.
• Complies with all laws and bank policies.
