Job summary

Metro Bank is seeking an experienced Intermediary Mortgage Sales BDM to foster relationships with mortgage intermediaries across a defined post code area. You will handle daily queries, plan events, and work with Telephony and Face-to-Face BDMs to ensure SLAs are met.

The role requires excellent mortgage product and policy insight, regulatory knowledge, and strong relationship and account management skills, with a track record in intermediary panels.

Qualifications

• Business to Business sales experience preferably within the Intermediary Mortgage Market, either as a BDM or Telephone BDM.
• Excellent mortgage product and policy insight.
• Up to date knowledge of compliance and mortgage regulation.
• Relationship and account management skills.
• Experience managing a defined panel of Intermediaries within financial services with a track record of success.

Responsibilities

• Deal with daily queries from intermediaries on new and existing cases.
• Develop, maximise and nurture intermediary relationships within a specific post coded area.
• Collaborate with Telephony and Face to Face BDM to meet SLAs for intermediary contacts via a strategic contact plan.
• Attend, plan and deliver intermediary events alongside roundtable and platform presentations.
• Maintain strong knowledge of Metro Bank mortgage products, lending policy and services, and the wider UK mortgage market.
• Plan and organise intermediary panel and diary management while delivering excellent service.
