Job summary

Huntington National Bank in Dallas is seeking a Mortgage Loan Advisor who works with the Senior Loan Officer and Sales Manager to originate 1-4 family residential mortgage loans and grow the business through internal and external referrals.

The role emphasizes cross-selling other bank products, adherence to regulatory and quality standards, and supporting OCR relationships while delivering exceptional customer service.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• NMLS Certification.
• 6 months or more related experience in the financial service industry.
• Bachelor's Degree or 12-24 months of financial or sales related experience.

Responsibilities

• Loan Origination: Achieve mortgage loan production goals through the origination of 1-4 residential mortgage loans.
• Business Development: Conduct business development activities with both internal and external COIs to grow the business. This includes but is not limited to training, coaching, marketing with branches, internal partners, and external COIs.
• Pipeline Management/Quality/Customer Service: Work with Sr. MLO, sales manager, and operations team to provide exceptional service to customers and meet closing expectations. Strive to achieve Huntington criteria for file quality and accuracy. Provide outstanding customer service and adhere to Huntington customer touchpoints for loan files.
• Cross Sell: Participate in internal OCR activities to grow customer share of wallet. Work to develop relationships within the CBB and with other partners to ensure all customers financial needs are being addressed.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
