Zusammenfassung

Newrez is seeking a Mortgage Insurance Loss Analysis Specialist to perform forensic reviews of loan servicing from default to final claim payment. You will conduct root cause analyses of servicing discrepancies, identify losses, and report findings to stakeholders.

Responsibilities include reviewing notes, reconciliations, and supporting documents, ensuring government requirements are met, and staying aligned with HUD and regulatory changes.

Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• College degree preferred.
• Minimum 3+ years of claims filing experience is required.
• Default-related mortgage servicing experience is required.
• Knowledge of FHA/VA/USDA default servicing guidelines required.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
• Familiar with GSE and government loan servicing guidelines.
• Experience reviewing processes, reports, and documents with strong attention to detail.
• Ability to develop relationships with stakeholders and meet timelines.

• Review all servicing notes, monthly servicing reporting, timelines, supporting documentation, and claims detail to ensure government requirements are met.
• Work with department managers and supervisors to gather necessary documentation.
• Reconcile submitted claim to actual claim funds received.
• Reconcile losses incurred to determine assigned responsibility.
• Own loss reporting and develop new reporting as needed.
• Present findings and reporting to key stakeholders and management.
• Monitor key indicators to detect unexplained variances indicating quality control issues.
• Ensure departments adhere to government guidelines and investor requirements.
• Interpret regulatory requirements to identify opportunities and communicate results.
• Assist in maintaining guidelines repository and trending analyses.
