Job summary

Newrez is seeking a Supervisor Homeowner Advocacy Analytics – Servicing to lead the Compliance team, applying advanced data analysis and regulatory insight to resolve borrower, investor, and regulator inquiries. You will drive accuracy, mentorship, and cross‑functional collaboration.

The role requires a bachelor's degree, 6+ years in mortgage/compliance/audit, strong communication, and comfort interpreting mortgage servicing documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher; professional certifications considered advantageous.
• 6+ years’ experience in mortgage, business controls, compliance, or audit.
• Proficiency in interpreting mortgage regulatory mandates and evaluating servicing documentation.
• Experience researching mortgage accounts to identify and rectify potential errors with precision.

Responsibilities

• Manage team of Homeowner Advocacy Analysts to track, manage, and implement projects.
• Present complex information clearly to stakeholders.
• Maintain knowledge of mortgage servicing laws, regulations, and policies.
• Collaborate with QA/QC and other process owners to address findings and drive changes.
• Manage caseloads to ensure timely follow-up and closure per regulators.
• Evaluate compliance matters through trend analysis and root cause investigations.
• Work with cross-functional teams to resolve customer and investor concerns.
• Maintain understanding of mortgage servicing policies and procedures.
• Provide oversight of business processes and controls.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
