Job summary

Regions is seeking a Business Systems Analyst to conduct business process analysis and needs assessments, aligning IT solutions with business initiatives. This role may act as a liaison between lines of business and IT.

Location is Hoover, Alabama, with on-site work expectations and a supportive benefits package. Target compensation is market-aligned with standard regional ranges. This position may require after-hours support rotations and adheres to FLSA exemptions.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED with seven years of related experience or Bachelor's degree with three years of related experience.
• Experience with banking/financial services preferred.
• Experience providing application support including troubleshooting.
• Experience with business intelligence tools.

Responsibilities

• Formulates/defines specifications for operating software programs or modifies/maintains existing applications.
• Analyzes and evaluates existing or proposed systems and devises programs and procedures.
• Prepares charts and diagrams to aid problem analysis and submits recommendations.
• Encodes, tests, debugs, and installs operating programs and procedures in coordination with operations and user departments.
• Reviews progress and evaluates results and reports inconsistencies with proposed solutions.
