Job summary

Regions Bank in Hoover, Alabama is seeking a Business Systems Analyst to align IT solutions with business initiatives. The role acts as a liaison between lines of business and IT, performing cost/benefit analyses and documenting specifications.

You will support agile product owners, assist mortgage/home equity systems, and help ensure regulatory compliance while delivering high quality service and solutions.

Regular in-office presence is expected, with some after-hours support as needed.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of related experience with a high school diploma, or a BA with 3+ years of experience.
• Banking/financial services experience preferred.
• Experience with business intelligence tools.
• Familiarity with agile and/or waterfall methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Formulates specifications for operating software applications or modifies/maintains existing applications.
• Analyzes and evaluates systems and devises programs, systems, and procedures to process data.
• Prepares charts and diagrams to assist in problem analysis and submits recommendations for solution.
• Encodes, tests, debugs, and installs programs in coordination with IT and user departments.
