Job summary

Regions Financial Corporation seeks a Business Systems Analyst to conduct business process analysis and cost/benefits analysis to align IT solutions with business initiatives. The role may act as a liaison between lines of business and IT.

Key responsibilities include defining specifications for software, analyzing systems, and developing coding logic. The position requires collaboration across teams and may include after-hours support.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED and seven (7) years of related experience
• Bachelor's degree and three (3) years of related experience
• Experience with mortgage/home equity lending preferred

Responsibilities

• Formulates/defines specifications for operating software programs or maintains existing applications
• Analyzes and evaluates systems and devises programs and procedures to process data
• Prepares charts/diagrams to aid problem analysis and submits recommendations
• Develops coding logic flowcharts and program diagrams
• Encodes, tests, debugs, and installs operating programs
• Reviews progress and evaluates results
• Reports inconsistencies to management and suggests improvements
• On-call support rotation after hours and/or weekends may be required
