Job summary

ICCU is seeking a Mortgage Loan Officer in Idaho Falls to grow the mortgage loan portfolio. You will actively call on Real Estate Agents, Builders, and Business Partners, promote cross-sell of credit union products, and guide the loan from application to close with strong customer service.

Requirements include a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, the ability to work under pressure, excellent communication, and maintaining NMLS registration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• Ability to work under pressure and organize tasks for optimal sales performance.
• Excellent attention to detail, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Must be able to maintain NMLS registration.

Responsibilities

• Market ICCU Mortgage products in ICCU’s geographical field of membership.
• Develop business and generate leads from real estate agents.
• Handle applications and manage all communication during the loan process.
• Perform pre-approval analysis of new mortgage applications including income, assets, tax returns, credit reports.
• Assist in training branch team members on Loan Origination Systems or Encompass best practices.
• Cross-sell all Credit Union products and services when possible.
• Attend all loan closings.
