Job summary

Zillion Technologies Inc. in Vienna, VA is seeking a Mortgage Loan Documentation Specialist for a 6-month, on-site contract. You will manage critical mortgage documents, ensure accuracy, comply with regulations, and oversee third-party vendors.

You’ll review notes for saleability, coordinate with staff and investors, and support lien releases and final certifications. Responsibilities include handling document queues, updating records, indexing, and producing status reports.

Qualifications

• Experience handling highly sensitive, complex member requests.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Familiarity with mortgage processing and documentation requirements.
• Notary license is a plus.
• Strong written and verbal communication; basic research skills.

Responsibilities

• Monitor queues and respond to emails/phone inquiries; format reports.
• Update servicing system and confirm receipt of original documents.
• Coordinate with Procurement to send documents to off-site storage.
• Index and locate mortgage documents for efficient lookup.
• Prioritize investor-m mandated docs for GNMA/private pools final Certs.
• Review and reconcile lien releases and recording discrepancies.
• Return original notes and closing docs to members; ensure compliance.
• Prepare daily status reports for management; ensure deadlines are met.
