Job summary

Adecco is partnering with a prominent client in Santa Ana, CA to recruit dedicated and detail-oriented Document Review Clerks in the mortgage industry. The role offers weekly pay at $18.50 per hour and a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, and a 401(k) plan.

You will review mortgage files for completeness, verify data against documents, and use Excel to input and audit information in a fast-paced environment. This is a full-time role with standard daytime hours.

Qualifications

• Preferred 2+ years supporting data entry and document review roles.
• Mortgage document review experience is a plus but not mandatory.
• Proven experience as a file clerk or in data entry.
• Proficiency in navigating Excel for review and data input.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt quickly.
• Strong attention to detail with accuracy and efficiency.
• Minimum typing speed of 45+ words per minute.
• Excellent written communication and grammar skills.
• Ability to lift up to 35 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Review mortgage files meticulously for completeness and accuracy.
• Audit files to ensure all required forms and documents are included and meet documentation standards.
• Cross-verify system data against physical documents to ensure consistency and correctness.
• Utilize Microsoft Office tools to facilitate document review and data verification processes.
• Identify, flag, and resolve discrepancies within electronic records.
• Process reinstatements, allonges, and trailing documents efficiently.
• Assist with special projects and other tasks as assigned to support team goals.
