Job summary

Shelter Lending Services, a member of the Newrez Family of Companies, is seeking a Mortgage Consultant-in-training. You will gain knowledge through online training and work with Sales Coaches to expand into the Mortgage Consultant role for existing customers and first-home purchases.

Responsibilities include taking loan applications by phone, presenting suitable products, and meeting monthly production goals while maintaining compliance with the Newrez Code of Conduct.

Qualifications

• Associates or Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 0-2 years of related experience; sales experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Engage with consumers, determine needs, and offer the appropriate product.
• Take mortgage loan applications by phone and prepare loan proposals.
• Provide superior customer service and meet monthly production goals.
• Stay informed of mortgage industry trends and participate in training.
