Job summary

Citizens State Bank in Hudson, Wisconsin, seeks a Mortgage and Construction Loan Assistant to coordinate files from application through closing and construction administration. Ideal candidates have 3–5 years of related experience and an active NMLS registration or willingness to obtain it within 90 days.

Qualifications

• Three to five years of similar or related experience preferred.
• Experience with mortgage lending, construction lending, loan processing, loan operations, construction draws, builder reviews, title work, or insurance documentation is preferred.
• Strong organization, attention to detail, communication, customer service, and basic calculation skills.
• Ability to manage multiple loan files, deadlines, and documentation requirements.
• Valid NMLS registration or willingness to become registered within 90 days, as required for assigned duties.

Responsibilities

• Collect, review, and organize documentation for mortgage and construction loan files.
• Coordinate with lenders, borrowers, builders, title companies, inspectors, and other third parties.
• Order and track appraisals, title work, inspections, insurance, and other required documentation.
• Assist with construction loan administration, including builder files, budgets, draws, inspections, lien waivers, and project documentation.
• Track mortgage pipelines and construction projects to support timely closings, draws, renewals, and payoffs.
