Job summary

Citizens State Bank is seeking a Mortgage and Construction Loan Assistant to coordinate loan files from application through closing and construction administration. You will liaise with borrowers, builders, title companies, inspectors, and other vendors to keep projects moving forward.

Three to five years of related experience is preferred, with knowledge of mortgage and construction processes. The role requires strong organization, attention to detail, and clear communication to support timely

Qualifications

• Three to five years of similar or related experience preferred.
• Experience with mortgage lending, construction lending, loan processing, loan operations, construction draws, builder reviews, title work, or insurance documentation is preferred.
• Strong organization, attention to detail, communication, customer service, and basic calculation skills.
• Ability to manage multiple loan files, deadlines, and documentation requirements.
• Valid NMLS registration or willingness to become registered within 90 days, as required for assigned duties.

Responsibilities

Citizens State Bank is looking for a motivated, detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Mortgage and Construction Loan Assistant. This position will work closely with our Mortgage Loan Officers and Construction Lending Department to coordinate loan files from application through closing and construction administration. The role will communicate with borrowers, builders, title companies, inspectors, and other third-party vendors to gather documentation and help keep loans and construction projects moving forward.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collect, review, and organize documentation for mortgage and construction loan files.
• Coordinate with lenders, borrowers, builders, title companies, inspectors, and other third parties.
• Order and track appraisals, title work, inspections, insurance, and other required documentation.
• Assist with construction loan administration, including builder files, budgets, draws, inspections, lien waivers, and project documentation.
