Newrez LLC in Greenville, SC seeks a Homeowner Advocacy Analyst - Servicing to join its Compliance team. You will investigate and respond to borrower, investor, and regulatory inquiries, and help resolve issues while documenting findings clearly.

The role emphasizes writing, prioritization, and collaboration with internal partners, with responsibilities spanning policy updates, remediation, and timely issue resolution.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher, professional certifications advantageous.
• 2-4 years’ mortgage industry, controls, compliance, or audit experience.
• Proficiency interpreting mortgage regulatory mandates and servicing documentation.
• Expertise researching mortgage accounts to identify and rectify errors.

Responsibilities

• Investigate and respond to borrower, investor, and regulator inquiries or complaints.
• Maintain knowledge of federal/state consumer protection laws and mortgage regulations.
• Communicate findings to QA auditors and drive process changes.
• Manage caseloads to meet department standards and regulatory mandates.
• Support remediation activities and compliance reviews.
• Update policies and testing plans to improve servicing compliance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve issues promptly.
