Job summary

Newrez is seeking a Supervisor Homeowner Advocacy Analytics – Servicing to lead a team within Compliance, addressing borrower, investor, and regulatory inquiries with precision and proactive problem-solving.

You will oversee analytics-driven investigations, ensure adherence to federal/state protections, and collaborate across departments to optimize processes and outcomes for customers and partners.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher; professional certifications considered advantageous.
• 6+ years’ experience in mortgage industry, business controls, compliance, or audit.
• Proficiency with interpreting mortgage regulatory mandates and evaluating servicing documentation.
• Expertise in researching mortgage accounts to identify and rectify errors with precision.

Responsibilities

• Manage team of Homeowner Advocacy Analysts to track, manage, and implement projects.
• Present complex information in an understandable manner with accuracy.
• Develops knowledge of federal/state consumer protection laws and mortgage regulations.
• Communicate with QA/QC Auditors to address findings and drive process changes.
• Manage caseloads to meet standards and regulatory mandates.
• Make informed judgments and resolve concerns efficiently.
• Meet deadlines with business and investor requirements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve customer/investor concerns.
• Maintain understanding of mortgage servicing policies and procedures.
• Oversee and monitor business processes to correct errors timely.
