is seeking a Closing Supervisor Team Lead to oversee the daily workflow of the Closing Department, ensuring loan files are prepared, reviewed, and closed accurately and in full compliance with federal, state, and investor requirements. The role provides leadership to Closing Specialists and Coordinators, serves as the technical expert on closing documentation, and partners with Processing, Underwriting, Funding and Post-Closing teams to ensure timely funding and a positive

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 3-5 years of mortgage closing experience.
• Strong knowledge of loan documentation requirements for FHA, VA, USDA, and conventional loans.
• Strong computer skills; proficiency in Microsoft Office; ability to learn new programs.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the daily activities of the closing team to ensure on-time, compliant closing packages.
• Review loan files for completeness and adherence to FHA, VA, USDA, and conventional requirements.
• Resolve escalated closing issues, including funding delays and documentation discrepancies.
• Monitor pipeline activity and workload to ensure efficiency and SLA compliance.
• Conduct quality control on closed packages and recommend corrective actions.
• Provide training and coaching to closing staff to improve accuracy and growth.
• Collaborate with Processing, Underwriting, Funding, and Post-Closing teams for smooth transitions.
• Prepare periodic reports on performance, volume, and error rates.
• Assist with audits, regulatory reviews, and recruitment/training of new staff.
