Job summary

Whitaker Bank Corp of Kentucky is seeking a Mortgage Loan Closer in Lexington to prepare, review, and verify closing documents for portfolio loans and HELOCs. The role collaborates with lenders and settlement agents to ensure timely, compliant closings and disbursements.

The ideal candidate will manage closing disclosures, review files for accuracy, and maintain adherence to bank policies and regulatory requirements, including TRID guidelines.

Qualifications

• Requires experience preparing and understanding Closing Disclosures.
• Knowledge of TRID timing guidelines and disclosure requirements.
• Experience with mortgage loan closings in a banking environment.
• Strong PC skills including word processing and spreadsheets.

Responsibilities

• Prepare all loan closing documents using Encompass.
• Manage a pipeline of portfolio loans and HELOCs for closing.
• Complete accurate pre-closing and final closing disclosures per TRID timing.
• Review loan files for accuracy before closing and ensure proper escrow details.
• Coordinate with Settlement Agent/Attorney to ensure timely disbursement.
• Perform post-closing reviews and maintain compliance with policies.
