Job summary

Peoples Bank in Cambridge, OH is seeking a Consumer Loan Post Closer to review HELOC closing documents for accuracy and completeness after closing, and to book loans in the system following the recission period.

The role supports internal departments and bank partners, ensures documents reach the imaging system, and handles recording-related tasks while maintaining strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or 1–3 years banking experience required.
• Post-closing or related mortgage experience preferred.
• HELOC or closing experience preferred.
• Knowledge of Meridian Link and Salesforce is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Verify signed closing documents are accurate and complete once a HELOC loan has closed.
• Verify trailing documents are accurate and complete after recording.
• Acquire missing documents and facilitate correction of documents as needed with bankers following closing.
• Book HELOC loans through workflow process for HELOC loans once the recission period has ended and disbursed.
• Funding disbursements for HELOC loans after the date of recission, as well as mailing disbursements to the appropriate creditor.
• Send Credit Line Mortgage(s) and Deed of Trust(s) to the appropriate county for recording, and facilitate correction of documents as needed.
• Receive and track original signed closing document packages following closing and log incoming mail to support the HELOC department.
• Log recorded and trailing documents, and upload to the imaging system, Image Center for filing.
• Understand and adhere to the Bank's policies, procedures, products and services.
• Assist with scanning and indexing documents, when needed.
• Communicate well with internal partners for support.
• Display excellent organizational and detail-oriented skills in performance.
• Perform special projects as assigned.
