Job summary

SGS Consulting is seeking an experienced Mortgage Operations professional in Austin, TX. The role involves preparing pre-closing quality checks, credit analysis, and ensuring accurate closing and funding of mortgage loans across all states.

You will back up member contact via phone, take applications, and participate in departmental seminars and projects. A strong knowledge of DU, Prime Alliance, Episys and MS Office is essential.

Qualifications

• Banking or credit union experience required.
• Mortgage lending experience required.
• Knowledge of FNMA, NCUA and AAFCU Mortgage Lending Guidelines.
• Residential mortgage closing and funding experience required.
• Proficient in PC software including Desktop Underwriting, Prime Alliance, Episys; MS Office

Responsibilities

• Prepare pre-closing LQI requirements and credit analysis.
• Provide accurate closing and funding of mortgage loans nationwide.
• Back up member contact via incoming calls and loan applications.
• Represent Mortgage Department at events and special projects.
• Meet deadlines and support production goals.
• Ensure security and confidentiality and BSA compliance.
