Job summary

Greenfield Savings Bank is seeking a Loan Closing Specialist to support Originators, Office Managers, loan customers, and Attorneys in a courteous, professional manner. The role requires knowledge of residential and consumer lending, and the ability to work independently under the Residential Lending Closing Manager.

Qualifications

• Three to five years of residential mortgage lending experience, with emphasis in closing operations and funding coordination.
• Knowledge of residential mortgage products, closing procedures, and regulatory guidelines.
• Ability to review and prepare closing packages ensuring accuracy, completeness, and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all loan information and documentation meet lending compliance guidelines (TRID, HMDA, Truth-in-Lending, OFAC, Fact Act, Regulation B, RESPA).
• Create and deliver Closing Disclosures within regulatory guidelines.
• QC loan files prior to closing to ensure all compliance requirements are met.
• Coordinate closings, maintain closing calendar, prepare and forward closing packages and documents.
• Assemble and verify files for proper completeness and delivery to Loan Operations.
• Gather and review documents necessary to close loan transactions.
• Prepare daily rate sheets for internal use and website.
