Sunflower Bank, N.A. in Spokane, WA seeks a Mortgage Closing Manager to lead a team of Mortgage Closers ensuring efficient, accurate closings within policy and timeline.

The role collaborates with Mortgage Operations Leaders, Loan Officers and Sales Leadership to deliver smooth client closings. We offer a full-time position with a salary range of $90,000 to $100,000, with benefits and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• Must possess knowledge of FHA, VA and Conventional Loan Programs as well as RESPA.
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.

• Ability to maintain confidentiality.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily activities and workload of the Closing Department, including post closers and closing assistants.
• Ensure all loans get to closing table without delay and provide high-quality service to internal and external customers.
• Maintain SLAs and keep strong communication with loan stakeholders for closing.
• Ensure accurate Closing Disclosures are provided to applicants, title contacts and colleagues.
• Address closing and funding questions from colleagues and third parties (including title service providers).
• Communicate changes in company policies, procedures and commitments.
• Produce, collect and organize closing documents; review files for accuracy, compliance and completeness.
• Ensure closing conditions are met.
• Collaborate with Post Closing to clear investor conditions for timely delivery.
• Coordinate with title companies and originators to schedule closings; inform on funding conditions.
• Use various computer programs for document production, organization, research, and communications.
• Meet deadlines for closing, verification, and expiring locks.
• Comply with policies, contracts, investor guidelines, lending programs, and laws.
