Job summary

Sunflower Bank, N.A. in Dallas, TX is seeking a Mortgage Closing Manager to lead the Closing Department and ensure accurate, efficient loan closings for customers and communities. The role emphasizes collaboration with mortgage origination teams and leadership of a team of closers and assistants.

You will manage daily workflows, coordinate with title companies, and uphold service level agreements while mentoring staff and maintaining regulatory compliance for a smooth closing process.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of FHA, VA and Conventional loan programs and RESPA.
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
• Professional leadership and ability to multi-task.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily activities and workload of the Closing Department, including post closers and closing assistants.
• Ensure all loans reach closing with timely, high-quality service for customers.
• Maintain SLAs and communicate with stakeholders for closing team and department.
• Review Closing Disclosures (CDs) for applicants, title contacts and colleagues.
• Coordinate with title service providers and other parties as needed.
• Communicate policy changes and commitments to the team and partners.
• Produce, collect and organize closing documents for each file; verify accuracy.
• Ensure closing conditions are met and documents complete for closing.
• Collaborate with Post Closing to clear investor conditions for timely funding.
• Schedule closings with other divisions and inform Mortgage Lenders of funding conditions.
