Job summary

Old Fort Banking Company seeks a Mortgage Loan Closer/Processor to process, close and administer residential loans, including 1st mortgages and HELOCs, ensuring accuracy and compliance.

You will order appraisals and title work, prepare wire requests, enter loan data, and support lenders and builders on construction draws. Requires 1-3 years mortgage experience, degree preferred, strong communication and confidentiality; knowledge of Finastra MortgageBot/Avista desired.

Qualifications

• Associate or Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 1-3 years of mortgage experience preferred.
• Excellent communication, leadership, analytical and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of Finastra MortgageBot/Avista desired.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Process and close residential mortgage loans including 1st mortgage and HELOC loans.
• Assemble and verify loan documents for accuracy and signatures.
• Order appraisals and title work; prepare wire requests.
• Enter loan data into computer systems and maintain records.
• Communicate with builders on construction draws and loan status.
• Review closing packages and transfer data to appropriate departments.
• Ensure compliance with bank policies, regulatory and BSA requirements.
• Provide administrative support to loan officers and staff.
• Answer inquiries by phone and in writing.
