Chickasaw Nation Industries (CNI) is seeking a Mortgage Clerk to support mortgage loan processing from applications through closing. The role involves reviewing documents, verifying borrower data, and coordinating with loan officers, underwriters, and other stakeholders to ensure timely and compliant processing.

• Associates degree and/or two years’ relevant experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education/experience.

Responsibilities

• Reviews loan applications and supporting documentation for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with lending guidelines.
• Verifies borrower information, such as employment history, income, credit reports, and property details.
• Coordinates with borrowers, loan officers, underwriters, and other parties involved in the loan process to gather additional information or resolve any issues.
• Assists in the preparation of loan documents, including disclosures, promissory notes, and closing documents.
• Inputs borrower information into loan processing systems accurately and efficiently.
• Communicates with borrowers and other stakeholders to provide updates on the loan status and address any questions or concerns.
• Maintains accurate and organized loan files, including documentation of all communication and actions taken during the loan process.
• Assists in the review of loan files for compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.

Job DescriptionA Mortgage Clerk provides routine administrative support and plays a role in the processing and documentation of mortgage loans.
