Job summary

Viking Electric in Rochester, MN is hiring a Warehouse Material Handler to support our shipping and receiving operations. You will help move products from the warehouse to customers, ensuring accurate picking, packing, and timely loading onto trucks.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly, or up to 75 lbs with assistance.
• Ability to stand and walk for most of your shift.
• Willingness to learn forklift and handheld scanner.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States without VISA sponsorship now or in the future.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload trucks and move boxes/material in a safe manner using forklift, pallet jack, handcart, reach trucks, or other device (no experience required - training provided).
• Count, check and record items coming into or being shipped out of the warehouse.
• Use a handheld device to scan barcodes and labels to track inventory levels.
• Assemble, package, label, stack, palletize and route material for safe delivery or storage.
• Help keep products free from damage and organized; follow procedures to maintain warehouse safety.
