Job summary

Michaels Stores in Longmont, CO is hiring for a frontline store role. You will deliver friendly customer service, help customers locate products, and ensure a fast checkout with accurate cash handling.

You’ll engage customers in the Rewards program, support omnichannel processes, and assist with unloading and stocking to keep the store well-merchandised. The role involves standing for long periods, lifting heavy boxes, and working nights/weekends.

Qualifications

• Retail and/or customer service experience preferred.
• Ability to stand for long periods and move around the store.
• Excellent cash handling and checkout skills.
• Eligible to work in the United States; age 16+.

Responsibilities

• Help customers locate products and provide solutions.
• Provide fast and friendly checkout experience with cash handling to standards.
• Engage customers on the Rewards program and enrollments.
• Assist with Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship From Store (SFS).
• Participate in truck unloading, stocking, and planogram duties.
• Maintain store recovery and in‑stock conditions; presentation and merchandising.
• Support shrink and safety programs; adhere to SOPs and company policies.
• Interact with customers in a positive, respectful manner and model company values.
