Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 2–3 years of manufacturing or materials processing experience.
• Working knowledge of Lean manufacturing concepts.
• Experience with tools such as Work Instructions, fork truck, measuring tape.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).

Responsibilities

• Lead with the Fabrication Supervisor to drive safety, quality, delivery, inventory and productivity.
• Provide team leadership and training; resolve production issues proactively.
• Review orders and documentation to ensure accurate information.
• Direct department and align efforts with organizational goals.
• Oversee production processes to meet schedules and optimize workflow.
• Conduct spot checks to maintain quality standards.
• Facilitate training and cross-training for associates.
• Coordinate with other shifts and supervisor for smooth handoffs.
• Act as back-up Supervisor when needed and participate in candidate interviews.
