Job summary

Eaton Corporation in Sumter, SC is seeking a Mission Critical Team Lead - Bus Assembly to lead manufacturing in the bus assembly area. Schedule Monday-Friday, 6:00am–2:30pm, with an hourly rate of $24.00 and eligibility for a variable incentive.

The role focuses on production leadership, material allocation, inspection, wiring, and shipping to ensure timely order fulfillment while upholding Eaton's quality standards. Collaboration with the manufacturing team and staff cross-training are expected.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required.
2 years of manufacturing experience.
3 months of leadership experience.
Must be authorized to work in the US without sponsorship.
Residence within 50 miles of Sumter, SC; no relocation benefits.
No immigration sponsorship accepted.

Responsibilities

Promote a safe, engaged and inclusive work culture.
Ensure orders are executed timely and efficiently and urgent orders fulfilled first.
Review orders and documentation to ensure information is complete for the job.
Communicate updates on order status and promote cross-department teamwork.
Support training and development; cross-train in critical positions.
Delegate tasks and align resources to meet production goals.
Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and drive projects.
Attend tier meetings to discuss progress and resolve bottlenecks.
Request materials/sub-assemblies to ensure timely production.
Work on projects and special assignments as needed.
