Job summary

Eaton Corporation in Greenwood, SC seeks a Team Lead – Final Assembly for 1st shift to partner with the Supervisor on safety, quality, and productivity metrics. You’ll lead by example, train peers, and drive proactive production support to meet Eaton’s standards.

The role includes guidance on 5S, daily goal oversight, and Tier 1 briefings; forklift use and cross-functional collaboration are expected.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent from an accredited institution.
• At least 3+ years of manufacturing experience in switchgear assembly.
• U.S. work authorization now and in the future; no sponsorship required.
• No relocation assistance; within 50 miles of Greenwood, SC; military exemptions apply.

Responsibilities

• Guide team to meet safety, quality, delivery, inventory, and productivity targets.
• Provide training and production guidance; enforce 5S at shift start/end.
• Oversee daily production goals; communicate results and issues to supervisor.
• Lead Tier 1 meetings to share goal results when supervisor is absent.
• Operate forklift as needed; maintain quality per Eaton standards.
• Resolve conflicts swiftly to sustain team productivity.
