Job summary

Eaton’s ES AMER ESS division is seeking a Production Supervisor for the 3rd shift in Greenwood, SC to lead manufacturing operations and deliver continuous improvement in safety, quality, and productivity. The role requires coordinating resources across functions to meet customer demands while upholding Eaton’s values and standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited school and 1 year of experience in manufacturing/operations/supply chain management.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Clearly communicate expectations and hold self and employees accountable for performance.
• Collaborate with peers and leadership to define goals, objectives and metrics.
• Align workforce with the company vision and Eaton’s values in daily activities.
• Schedule workload to meet customer needs and coordinate resources across safety, quality, maintenance, scheduling, logistics and engineering.
• Lead improvements using lean tools and support teams to drive productivity and quality.
• Reduce costs through lean manufacturing concepts and continuous improvements and lead Kaizen events as needed.
• Mentor and develop team members; support succession planning and recognize high performance.
• Be an ambassador of our Quality culture and promote safe work practices.
• Lead safety initiatives and maintain a safe working environment; ensure employees have skills and tools to work safely.
• Engage workforce to drive change and foster innovation; encourage continuous learning.
• Drive plant initiatives launched by support functions and manage attendance and overtime as needed.
