Job summary

The Michaels Companies in Waynesville, NC is seeking a part-time Retail Service Team Member for morning shifts. You will help customers find products, provide friendly service, and participate in checkout with accurate cash handling.

You will also support unloading trucks, stocking, and maintaining planograms, while engaging customers in the Rewards program and private label card enrollments. Cross-trained in framing is a plus.

Qualifications

• Retail or customer service experience preferred.
• Ability to stand for long periods; physically active and able to lift moderate loads.

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly customer service and help customers shop the store.
• Execute a fast, friendly checkout with accurate cash handling.
• Unload trucks and stock shelves; maintain planograms and store recovery standards.
• Engage customers on the Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards; enroll when possible.
• Assist with Omni-channel processes, including Buy Online Pickup In Store (BOPIS) and Ship From Store (SFS).
• Cross-trained in Custom Framing selling and production; support related duties.
