Job summary

Peoplemark is hiring a Retail Janitor for the morning shift to keep a large retail store clean, safe, and welcoming for customers and staff. The role offers consistent morning hours, approximately 35 hours weekly, with pay at $16.00 per hour and weekly payment.

The ideal candidate is dependable, punctual, and capable of working independently while maintaining high cleanliness standards across entrances, floors, restrooms, and common areas.

Qualifications

• Dependable and punctual.
• Ability to work independently.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Positive attitude and strong work ethic.
• Previous cleaning, janitorial, housekeeping, or custodial experience is helpful, but not required.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, and perform physical tasks throughout the shift.

Responsibilities

• Operate floor scrubbers and other cleaning equipment
• Clean and sanitize restrooms
• Maintain breakrooms and office spaces
• Sweep, mop, dust, and vacuum designated areas
• Empty trash and replace liners
• Clean entrances, sales floors, and high-traffic areas
• Perform daily floor scrubbing as required
• Report maintenance concerns and safety hazards
• Help create a clean, safe, and positive shopping environment
