Job summary

Diversified Maintenance is hiring a Janitor to perform all-purpose cleaning and preservation of assigned areas inside client sites, with flexibility in duties according to each contract. The role supports daily facility operations and requires attention to detail to maintain a safe, presentable environment.

We offer full-time and part-time opportunities with shifts from 5:00 AM to 10:00 AM, including mornings and afternoons, Monday through Sunday, and weekly pay.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent, or 6+ months janitorial experience.
• On the job training provided.
• Attention to detail.
• Ability to follow instructions effectively.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and clean all floor surfaces: sweep, mop, scrub, vacuum.
• Use chemical cleaners and power equipment safely to protect floors and objects.
• Clean, monitor and maintain restrooms, meeting rooms, corridors, and entrance areas.
• Empty trash and dispose; operate compactors as needed.
• Clean windows, glass partitions, and mirrors with appropriate cleaners/equipment.
• Spot clean carpets; assist in extractions/shampooing.
• Replenish paper products and sanitary supplies.
• Follow housekeeping schedule.
• Occasionally use heavy cleaning equipment such as floor scrubbers and buffers.
• Perform other duties as assigned per scope of work or customer needs.
