Job summary

Diversified Maintenance is hiring a part-time Janitor to support cleaning and preservation of assigned areas at one or more client sites. The role is $12.00 per hour with morning and afternoon shifts, including Saturdays and Sundays, and weekly pay.

The position emphasizes flexibility to meet client needs and adherence to safety and cleanliness standards. Responsibilities include floor cleaning, restroom upkeep, trash removal, window cleaning, and following chemical usage procedures.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent or six months janitorial experience.
• On the job training will be provided.
• Attention to detail.
• Ability to follow instructions effectively.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and clean all floor surfaces (sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, vacuuming).
• Follow procedures for chemical cleaners and power equipment to prevent damage.
• Clean, monitor and maintain restrooms, meeting rooms, corridors, and entrances.
• Empty trash cans and use of a compactor as needed.
• Clean windows, glass partitions, and mirrors with appropriate cleaners.
• Spot clean carpets; assist in carpet extractions and shampooing.
• Replenish paper products and sanitary supplies.
• Follow housekeeping schedule.
• Occasionally use heavy cleaning equipment (scrubbers, backpacks, buffers).
• Other duties as assigned by client or scope of work.
