Job summary

Michaels Stores in Santa Rosa, CA is hiring a store associate to deliver friendly customer service, help customers shop, and ensure a fast checkout experience. You will help with truck unloading, stocking, and maintaining a well-merchandised store.

Responsibilities include guiding customers, enrolling them in Rewards programs, and supporting BOPIS and Ship From Store processes. The role requires standing and moving through the store for shifts, including nights and weekends.

Qualifications

• Retail and/or customer service experience preferred.
• Michaels requires team members in this role to be at least sixteen years or older.

Responsibilities

• Help customers shop, locate products, and provide solutions.
• Provide a fast and friendly checkout experience; execute cash handling to standards.
• Engage customers on the Rewards program and Private Label Credit Card enrollments.
• Educate customers on the Voice of Customer (VOC) survey.
• Assist with Omni channel processes (BOPIS and SFS).
• Participate in truck unload, stocking, and planogram processes.
• Maintain merchandise in-stock and well-merchandised; complete returns/go backs.
• Support shrink and safety programs; adhere to SOPs and company policies.
