Job summary

Guckenheimer Enterprises, Inc., an ISS Company, is seeking a Prep Production Cook for a full-time, on-site role. You will season and cook soups, meats, vegetables, and desserts under direction, while serving customers during meal periods and maintaining high safety standards.

Ideal candidates will have ServSafe or Food Handler certification, high-volume kitchen experience, and strong teamwork. The role requires standing, lifting up to 25 lbs, and working Mon-Fri mornings.

Qualifications

• Must maintain ServSafe/HACCP compliance and adhere to safety standards.
• Experience handling high-volume catering operations is a plus.
• Knowledge of raw materials, production processes, and quality control.

Responsibilities

• Season and cook food according to recipes and experience.
• Observe and test foods for doneness and adjust temperatures.
• Weigh, measure, and mix ingredients using kitchen tools.
• Portion, arrange, and garnish food for service.
• Regulate oven, broiler, and grill temperatures for safety and quality.
• Assist other cooks during rush periods and maintain cleanliness.
