Clyde's Restaurant Group in Reston, VA is seeking a Morning Prep Cook to help launch Ebbitt House. This role offers flexible shifts, hands-on training, and opportunities to grow with a respected hospitality group.

Qualifications

• Hardworking, attentive, and hospitality-driven with a desire to excel and maintain the highest level of service.
• Experience as a prep cook desired, preferably in a high-volume restaurant.
• Ability to read and prep recipes to measurements and standards.
• Available to work a variable schedule including early mornings, late nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Wash, peel, slice, dice, chop, and otherwise prepare raw vegetables, meat and fish.
• Use a commercial food slicer to slice various meats, cheese, and vegetables.
• Use a commercial food processor to prep foods.
• Operate both convection and conventional ovens and gas ranges.
• Lift, handle, weigh, and portion food items using a commercial portion control scale.
• Label, date, and store prepped product.
• Clean, wipe, and scour prep equipment and machinery, and sweep and mop prep area floors.
