Qualifications

• Hardworking, attentive, hospitality-driven with a desire to excel and maintain the highest level of service.
• Experience as a prep cook in a high-volume restaurant is preferred.
• Able to read and prep recipes to measurements and standards.
• Available to work a variable schedule including early mornings, late nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Wash, peel, slice, dice, chop, and prepare raw vegetables, meat and fish.
• Use a commercial food slicer to slice meats, cheese, and vegetables.
• Use a commercial food processor to prep foods.
• Operate convection and conventional ovens and gas ranges.
• Lift, weigh, and portion food items using a scale.
• Label, date, and store prepped product.
• Clean, wipe, and scour prep equipment and machinery, and sweep and mop prep area floors.

What We Look For In a Prep Cook
