Job summary

CUT New York by Wolfgang Puck is seeking a skilled AM Line Cook to join our morning prep and service production in a fast-paced, fine dining kitchen. The role requires precision, strong foundational cooking skills, and the ability to work efficiently while upholding Wolfgang Puck Fine Dining Group standards.

You will perform morning cooking, prep, plating, and station maintenance, following production schedules and safety guidelines.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of 2 years of cooking experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Fine dining experience preferred; ability to work in a fast-paced, professional kitchen.
• Strong understanding of cooking techniques, ingredients, equipment, and kitchen procedures.
• Ability to consistently work early morning shifts.

Responsibilities

• Execute food preparation and cooking according to CUT and Wolfgang Puck Fine Dining Group standards.
• Maintain proper food storage, handling, labeling, and rotation procedures.
• Ensure food quality, portion control, and presentation meet fine dining expectations.
• Follow daily production schedules, prep lists, and par levels.
• Prepare meats, poultry, game, fish, vegetables, and fruits with standard techniques.
• Follow proper plate presentation and garnish standards where applicable.
• Ensure clean, organized, and sanitary workstations and equipment.
