Job summary

Joyous Ventures is seeking a Program Aide to help maintain a safe, respectful living environment for participants in interim housing programs. You will work with behavioral health and case management teams to support daily needs and progress toward stability.

The role combines residential support, safety monitoring, and participant engagement, requiring professionalism and strong boundaries while assisting with routines and programming.

Qualifications

• Certification in food handling is required.
• Basic life support (BLS) / CPR certification is required.
• Experience in residential or community support is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Welcome and orient new participants to the facility and program expectations.
• Monitor participant activities in common areas and sleeping quarters.
• Provide basic guidance and emotional support while maintaining professional boundaries.
• Respond to medical emergencies, administer First Aid/CPR, and follow established protocols.
• Maintain accurate shift documentation and incident reports.
