Job summary

Socorro Wellness & Rehabilitation is seeking an outstanding Hospitality Aide to support daily housekeeping and maintenance tasks within a long-term care facility. You will uphold cleanliness, safety, and comfort for residents while following federal, state, and local guidelines and directives from supervisory staff.

The role focuses on day-to-day facility upkeep, assisting with laundry and housekeeping duties, and maintaining a warm, welcoming environment for residents and visitors.

Qualifications

• Highschool diploma or equivalency preferred.
• One year’s work experience in a commercial establishment with knowledge of laundry/housekeeping procedures.

Responsibilities

• Performs a variety of general housekeeping/cleaning duties in various areas to maintain the center in a sanitary, safe, attractive, and orderly condition.
• Receives assignments from supervisor and follows cleaning schedule as outlined for housekeeping department to clean offices, restrooms, activity rooms, kitchens, entrances and lounges.
• Cooperates with other facility personnel to ensure services are maintained to meet residents' needs; maintains warmth and a calm environment.
• Adheres to established employee policies and dress code.
