Job summary

Jasmine Porch at Kiawah Island Golf Resort is seeking a Server (Non Exempt) to prepare dining room and back-of-house areas for service and provide attentive guest experiences. You will welcome guests, monitor needs, and work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Shifts run early morning, with start times 5:30am-12:30pm or 7am-3:30/4pm. Responsibilities include maintaining cleanliness, knowledge of menu and beverages, and ensuring guest happiness.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• College degree is preferred.
• Must be at least 21 years old to pour alcohol.
• Past serving experience is required.
• CPR certification preferred.
• Ability to perform basic math calculations.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Strong English communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Must pass a background check.

Responsibilities

• Prepare dining room and back of house for service.
• Welcome guests and attend to their needs throughout dining experience.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in all areas.
• Know menu items, specials, and beverage offerings.
• Ensure guest happiness and teamwork in a fast-paced environment.
• Adapt to changing demands and maintain professionalism at all times.
